Our take
I got the XDJ-AZ with the decksaver cover for protection. AlphaTheta's build is solid—it feels like a mini club mixer. Four decks give plenty of room for creative mixing, and the touchscreen is fast and intuitive. The standalone operation means no laptop required, and it handles USB drives and streaming smoothly. It's basically a step up from the XDJ-RX3 with more channels. On the downside, it's expensive and heavy; you'll want a sturdy case. Also, it lacks some of the Opus Quad's features like the mic inputs, but for straight-up DJing, it's superb.
