About this product
New AlphaTheta Pioneer DDJ-GRV6 4-channel controller with Groove Circuit, effects (Delay, Distortion, Dub Echo), 2 mic and 2 phono inputs, 2 line inputs, XLR I/O, 16 pads, and tabletop form factor. Features Auto BPM and Autoloop. 24-bit/44.1kHz sampling. Priced at $1,044.75.
Our take
I picked up this DDJ-GRV6 for the extra inputs—phono and line are both useful. The Groove Circuit effects (Delay, Distortion, Dub Echo) add creative flexibility. The 16 pads are responsive for triggering samples. Sound quality at 44.1kHz is fine for most gigs. At $1,045, it's pricier than other options, but the XLR I/O and dual phono inputs justify it for DJs using turntables. The tabletop form factor is stable.
