It has 8 pads, 2 phono inputs, 2 line inputs, and 1 mic input. The controller includes a 4-band equalizer, auto BPM function, autoloop, and a replaceable crossfader. It is USB powered and comes with software included. Designed for tabletop use, it's packed with creative tools.
Our take
The DDJ-GRV6 is a feature-packed controller for $700. I love the built-in effects—there's everything from reverb to pitch shifting, giving you tons of creative freedom. The 4-band EQ is a nice touch for precise mixing. Having phono inputs means I can connect turntables, which is a plus for hybrid setups. The build feels solid, and the replaceable crossfader is great for scratch DJs. My only complaints are the 8 pads (fewer than some competitors) and the single mic input. But for the price, it offers excellent value for intermediate DJs. The USB power keeps setup simple.
